about us
I made a decision to follow my dream
I’m astonished by the amount of waste we produce in construction, and because of my love for wood, I’m especially saddened by unwanted old furniture. I know — some of it looks quite outdated, but we can give it a fresh look and breathe new life into it. Sleek and modern, yet with the grace of old-fashioned charm — what a mix! Pallets also make great building material.
I’m very passionate in my approach and only do things I believe are right for my clients and in line with my values. I’ve always wanted to create beautiful things for people — and now, I can make them useful too. On top of that, we’ll be reducing waste. Splendid!
I’m a blend of Celtic carpentry genes, British standards, and African spirit.
What qualifies me to do what i do?
Beginnings
I practically grew up on building sites. My dad built an estate where we lived, school, factory, house for his friends and single handedly for us. Didn’t take much notice of that those days, but as a young man in my late 20’s I decided to go back to school just like my father did.
After learning some English started doing labouring work on sites in London. Soon after picked up tools and from drylining went to being a carpenter
The more I thought about the way my dad turned his life around by going back to school at the age of 30 to become what he was (RIP) the more I wanted to do the same and maybe more.

Professional Experience
I started my work experience as a chainboy with Irish groundworks contractor for a project with Wates. I loved setting out engineering because of my love for maths and geometry. Side note: they couldn’t get me off the EDM instrument back in college. When I finally got a position as a trainee site manager with Galliford Try our site won best paperwork site in the region.
Went through the whole rainbow of house building companies with Bellways, Berkeley, Bouygues UK, Persimmon, London Square and Taylor Whimpey where I had a lot of training done. Very nice people.
The pinnacle of my professional career was project managing 2 6 storey office block conversion in pedestrianized street in Chinatown London for a small main contractor.
Fortunately for me, I’m completely uninstitutionalized (I know it’s a mouthful.. and probably made-up word, but it describes me the best), but I had to go through these hoops to get the necessary opportunities to get where I am today and I’m grateful.
My African experience
They say that limitations are best friends of architects, I can attest to that, I got a bit stuck in Africa and run out of money. Language barrier and my first mistake lead me to learn a new skill 3D design. I will include a short course later on this website, because everybody understands measurements and pictures. You know how problems are just blessings in disguise? After braking my hand I really got myself in gear.
I partnered with a local guy, who took a hotel project for the biggest star in Tanzania, and him knowledge of the building technologies and systems was nowhere near what I thought was required.
He had some balls. But at the end of the day, if you’re behind a general that knows what he’s doing, then you’re feeling strong.
There are a lot of soldiers around ready to do they work and do it well providing they have clear instructions and are fairly paid. And I speak their language. I can manage the process and get results.
